“The voice of lore at the campfire and the sharp laughter of modern myth… S. J. Tucker is songs and stories, community and wit.”-Phil Putnam

IN THE WORKS: S. J. is keeping her tour schedule light for the coming months in hopes of getting at least one new record release completed and out the door, but she’s got appearances in six US states coming up so far! More info on concerts to come. S. J. also gives online concerts on a regular basis which can be viewed at home or wherever you happen to be, as long as you have an internet connection available!
“Tucker is not only fantastic; she’s like a character out of a fantasy novel. She weaves myth and magic into her lyrics as easily as a strain of cello, a lick of something electric, the chuffing of a train engine…Tucker has a knack – no, a genius – for weaving old ways with new.”
–C. S. E. Cooney, blackgate.com
“S. J. Tucker sounds like no one else out there. I’m not sure if she is fairy, shape-shifter, otherworldly, or just a super intelligent, super perceptive woman…Critics have compared her voice to Joni Mitchell and Tori Amos, her guitar style to Emily Saliers. I believe she is a complete original coming straight from Neverland where Magick is real.”

Upcoming shows & gratitude!
Fam, it’s been a month of kooky storms, rewarding concerts, and a whole crop of new paid patrons over on my Patreon! I announced the new Kitten Snacks for our $5 tier, the Cheshire Kitten Team, just a couple of days ago. Since then, a bunch of folx jumped on board or increased their pledges, from $5 on up! I’m so grateful. The success of my Patreon and Bandcamp up to this point affords me the grace to scramble to book one less concert each month on average. That means it’s helping me stay afloat and focus on making new music to share. Your support means THE WORLD to me. Thank you. https://www.patreon.com/sjtuckermusic if you want to check Patreon out.
I have upcoming in-person shows and workshops! All the info is here on the tour page and on the Songkick list, as well.
