Singer-songwriter S. J. Tucker received her bachelor’s degree from Lyon College in 2001, and she’s thrilled to return to campus as a performer. Tucker has been traveling and performing full time for ten years as of this spring, and she’s loved every minute.
S. J., called “Sooj” by fans and friends, embodies the voice of lore at the campfire and the sharp laughter of modern myth, with a folklore-based repertoire of original music. Embracing the flavors of American Jazz, Blues, and Irish and World music, Sooj is known for combining the silly and the sacred on stage and for weaving her own energy-packed spell.
