TRICKY PIXIE recipe: combine one Faerie Tale Minstrel, one Pixie Pirate Powerhouse, and one elegant Stealth Cellist in a tall glass. Shake, stir, rattle and roll. Include plenty of guitars, drums and tall tales from all over the world. Add some fizz, turn up to eleven, and enjoy! Alexander James Adams, Betsy Tinney, and S. J. Tucker have been joyfully making Celtic fusion music and mischief together since 2007, despite living in different time zones and maintaining three separate solo careers. This weekend, they get together once again to bring their joyful magic to Soulfood, and also to celebrate Betsy’s first solo album: Release the Cello! Music starts at 7pm. All are welcome. Suggested donation is $10-$20; give more if you can, less if you can’t!
