Our festival was born from the realization that many queer people within the magickal community don't find our true power in heterosexual binary models . If nature is diverse, why should our spirituality be binary? Bending The Broomstick focuses on uncovering hidden histories, practices and ideals that address the lived experiences of LGBTQIA+ practitioners. We create space for magickal exploration without the pressure to fit into heterosexual polarity models and offer ways to create a more inclusive, relevant and personal connection to the craft. At its core, this festival is about finding the magick that actually mirrors you. S. J. is delighted to be part of the magic this coming spring!
